Paula Farrell is a registered nurse with over 20 years of clinical experience and over 15 years of experience in clinical quality measurement and improvement. She previously served as Project Director at The Joint Commission (TJC) and led efforts to develop and maintain clinical quality measures. She also served as Director of Quality Measurement for National Quality Forum (NQF) and provided subject matter expertise to support quality measure endorsement.

At Lantana, Paula supports the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) measure endorsement process and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) submissions. She also mentors and manages the public health educators who support the CDC NHSN.

Paula earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Millikin University and a master’s degree in Healthcare Quality and Safety (MSHQS) from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
