The FDB Customer Seminar 2013 will take place November 6 through 8, at the Turnberry Isle Resort in North Miami Beach, FL. Lantana’s George Augustine Koromia, MD, MMCi, will present educational tracks and participate in a panel discussion:

• Thursday, November 7 at 10:10 a.m. in the Garden II room: “Basics of Clinical Information Exchange Using HL7’s Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture.”
• Thursday, November 7 at 11:20 a.m. in the Garden I room: “Basics of Quality Reporting Using eMeasures and HL7’s Quality Data Reporting Architecture.”
• Thursday, November 7 at 1:20 p.m. in the Garden I room: Dr. Koromia, alongside his contemporaries, will participate on the panel, “Ask the Experts: Meaningful Use Interoperability.”

The 2013 FDB Customer Seminar will include:

• Practical tutorials covering all aspects of using the FDB solution suite
• Topical “solution” areas, such as ways to address alert fatigue and message overload, interoperability, achieving Meaningful Use, and drug pricing and reimbursement
• Guest presentations demonstrating how customers have implemented our drug knowledge
• Special track sessions for FDB customers using Epic and MEDITECH information systems
